Malcolm takes AMMF to New Heights!

Malcolm Robinson has climbed Pen-y-Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales several times in the past but, following a diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma in 2010, major surgery and chemotherapy, it was something he doubted he would do again.

So undertaking this climb again on Sunday 10th April, accompanied by family and friends, was certainly an achievement – and a double celebration – Malcolm celebrating his ‘all clear’ scan 12 months down the line, and his little grandson  Joseph Albert, his first birthday!

The weather was perfect – blue skies and sunshine all the way – as the group made the climb, all sporting the AMMF ribbon pins and carrying with them the AMMF logo.

Huge thanks to Malcolm for using this happy and memorable occasion not only to raise the awareness of cholangiocarcinoma and AMMF, but also to raise substantial funds for AMMF (£1600 inc Gift Aid and rising).
